The story of how Luke flooded my apartment and I only found out 4 days later

At about 1am on Thursday morning I hear the door open and Luke stumbles inside with a stupid smile on his face and an empty bottle of wine in his hand.
“Wow you’re drunk. *pause* UM, WHY did you bring home that empty bottle?” I asked
“Uh I uh I dno, I just couldn’t leave it lying around on the street.”
What a weirdo, I thought to myself.

I told him I was going to bed because of work the next day, and he proceeds to take all his clothes off and pass out naked on the bed.

I’m like, ok whatever, I just wanna get some sleep, I was so tired.

Next thing I know, he’s up and running to the bathroom, and I could hear him throwing up in the toilet. Gross. Then the shower’s turned on so I thought, sweet, he is capable of cleaning himself this time, I can go to sleep.

Next morning I wake up and all the electricity’s off. I ask Luke what did he do and he said there was a blackout in the city overnight. So I fixed the fuse and as I went to put on my belt which was in my bag near the kitchen, I thought it was weird how my belt and my bag was wet.

I get to work and during the day get a text from Luke saying “I washed all the towels :)” so I was like ok whatever…

Back home I notice his laptop I was using ran out of battery and the charger wasn’t working.

Then I don’t see him for a few days and on Sunday, after my Apple Store/youjizz incident which I’ll write about later, I finally asked him “umm did you flood my apartment or something that night you came home drunk?”
He kinda paused and had this stupid guilty smile where he has nothing to say and is thinking of some excuse.

So he tells me when he had the shower, he passed out on the floor of the shower, covering the drain. And when he woke up, my whole bathroom had flooded, all the water had spilled out to my living room where our computers, laptops and tv was, about 10cm high. So he started freaking out but didn’t want to wake me up because he was drunk and knew I would get angry and yell at him. So he decided to get all the towels I own and mop up the floors, squeezing out the water in the shower by jumping on them, and pretty much cleaning it all up so that I wouldn’t notice anything had happened, and hoping I wouldn’t find out.

He said he was trying to avoid telling me for as long as possible but was gna tell me eventually.

And that’s why my belt and bag were wet, the electricity was cut because the water soaked the powerpoints and his laptop charger. And that’s why he washed all my towels and made it sound like he was doing me a favour.

Then he said “at least you have a good story to tell people now!”

The End.
